With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harlan Gene Schafer of Mayflower, Arkansas, born in Steinauer, Nebraska, who passed away on June 23, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Schafer and Nellie Schafer (Wehrbein). He is survived by : his wife Linda Schafer (Overcash); and his children, Dawn Schafer of Bend, Wendy Wink (Sean) of Fairfield, Jason Schafer (Holly) of Benton, Ashlee Schafer of Little Rock and Jonathon Schafer (Stephanie) of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 1 ¾ great-grandchildren; a host of extended family and friends.

Harlan requested no service but memorials to be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
