With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Talmage Whitehead Sr. (McCrory, Arkansas), who passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, P. J. Whitehead and Gay Whitehead; his son Travis D. Whitehead; and his brother V. L. Whitehead. He is survived by : his wife Mary Alice Canard Whitehead; his sons, Talmage Whitehead Jr. (Jeannie) of Tupelo, Tony L. Whitehead of Fitzhugh and Todd Whitehead (Pam) of Judsonia; his sisters, Gladys Booker of Searcy and Ola Mae Morgan of Augusta; his grandchildren, Talmage J. Whitehead (Jaime) of Augusta, Brandye Oakes (Josh) of Searcy, Kayla Whitehead of Augusta, David Beshears (Christy) of Tuckerman, Jeffery Beshears (Susan) of Damascus and Rachel Willard of Clinton; and his close friend Jimmy Jackson. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
Thompson-Wilson Funeral Homes abide by the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and mandates by Governor Asa Hutchinson, requiring the wearing of masks and the practice of social distancing.
