She was predeceased by : her husband Billy Leo Scheffler; her parents, Edgar Whitehead and Lillie May Whitehead (Motsinger); and her siblings, Andrew Whitehead, Leroy Whitehead, Paul Whitehead, Meryl Whitehead, Pearl Whitehead and Dorothy Beecher.

She is survived by : her children, Gary Scheffler of McDougal, AR. and Sue Roark of McDougal, AR.; and her siblings, Don Whitehead, JoAnn Wright, Norma Havron and Luetta Woods. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
