It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Wayne Tunnell of Mena, Arkansas, born in Watson, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Everett Tunnell and Mabel Estell Burk-Tunnell; and his siblings, Sue Jordan, Gayle Jones and Herald Tunnell.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Sue of Mena, AR; his children, Kenny Tunnell of London, AR and Jana Ballard (Brandy Ballard) of Fort Smith, AR; his grandchildren, Chelsea Tunnell-Abendroth, Kaitlyn Tunnell-Vantine, Kacie Ballard-Stabler, Kaleb Tunnell and Kylie Ballard; his great grandchildren, Chase Abendroth, Lander Duvall, Kamry Duvall, Kennyn Vantine and Bentley Tunnell; his stepgreat-grandchild Kentlee Vantine; and his siblings, Norma Fields (Glenn), Elsie Cook (Paul), Shirley Capehart (Jerry Don), Larry Tunnell and Al Tunnell (Wanda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
