He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Jack Dowdy. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Louise Dowdy (Miller); his children, Dillon Dowdy, Cody Dowdy and Lexi Dowdy; his siblings, Rick Dowdy and Sherry Dowdy; his close friend Jeff Beck; and his nephews, Chris Dowdy (Sarah), Justin Dowdy (Sabat), Jonathon Dowdy and Robert Dowdy.
