He is survived by: his mother Naomi Frances Cook Petross of Mena, Arkansas; his son Chad; his daughter-in-law Renay Petross of New Waverly, Texas; his daughter Melissa Petross of Dodge, Texas; his sister Kay Petross of Mena, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Jessica, Chelsey, Michelle, Ethan, Evangeline, Madison, Eric Jr. and Evan; his great grandchild Alivia; his nephew Dion; his great-nephews, Shane and Dean; his niece Stephanie; his great-nephew Alec; his niece Pamela; and his great-nephews, William and Christopher. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mena Elks Lodge for the Christmas toy drive at 124 Elks Dr, Mena, AR 71953.
