It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scottie Brooks (Newark, Arkansas), who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Carl Dean Brooks; and his siblings, Harold Brooks and Regina Brooks. He is survived by : his mother Janice Brooks (Bridgeman); his children, Scottie Dean Brooks, Jr. of Pfeiffer, Kayla Dawn Church of Sulphur Rock, Kortney Shutt of Sulphur Rock and Brianna Brooks of Newark; and his sisters, Carla Layne of Oxford and Frankie Combs (Buddy) of Diaz. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
