We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2024, at the age of 81, John Edward Dawson of Grubbs, Arkansas, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Edward and Abby Genoa Dawson (Howlett); and his siblings, Jerry Phillips, Wayne Dawson and Annie Ivy.

He is survived by : his wife Sharron Dawson; his sons, William'Bill' Dawson (Leslie) of Grubbs and Doug Dawson (Donna) of Weiner; his grandchildren, B. J. Dawson (Rani), Eric Dawson, Nathan Dawson (GiGi), Kegan Price (Kendall) and Megan Price; his great grandchildren, Bryce Herring, Kase Dawson, Cullen Dawson, Sutton Dawson, Brealynn Dawson, Corbin Dawson, Brynlie Dawson and Finn Dawson; and his close friend Jim Phillips. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Midway Church (10334 AR-14, Amagon, AR 72005). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
