She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hughes and Curtis Hughes (Sinor); her former husband Clyde Southard; her husband Clyde Dye; her son Virgil Southard; and her siblings, Armel, Arvel, Abija, Lynn Hughes and Cordelia Jones.
She is survived by: her son Robert Southard (Diane); her grandchildren, Brenda Dodd (Dennis), Sherry Mason, Robbie Southard, Mandy Switzer (Brad), Marty Southard (Missy) and Travis Southard (Elayna); her great grandchildren, Ashley Wells (Steven), Sonya Switzer, Steven Switzer, Stephany Southard, Brooklyn Bissell (Justin), Case Southard and Uriah Southard; her stepchildren, Rick Dye (Linda), Dan Melton (Sharon), Betty Dutton, Deanna Quincy and Joann Reynolds (Otis); and her daughter-in-law Linda Marsh. She is also survived by 3 great-great-grandchildren.
