She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Stowers and Mabel Stowers (Marchant); and her siblings, Junior Stowers, Bobby Stowers, Jim Stowers, Glen Stowers, Dennis "Bub" Stowers and Patsy Hamby.
She is survived by: her spouse O. C. Simpson; her sons, Doug Simpson (Diane) of Norfork and Gary Simpson (Sharon) of Mulvane; and her brother Lucian Carrol Stowers. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
