He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Payne and Anna Lee Payne (Adams); his siblings, Odean, Maurice Payne, Kathryn Payne and Joyce Shelor; and his niece Cheryl Shelor.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Payne (Cathleen) of Norfork, Rita Harrington of Mountain Home and Janice Lantz (Johnnie) of Norfork; and his close friend Linda McClary. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
