He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Otis Brooks and Annie Katherine Lacefield Brooks; his wife Bobbi Brooks of Norman; his children, Kim Brooks of Chicago, Tim Brooks of Chicago, David Kaduk of Chicago, Troy Shimkus of Chicago and Andrea Saccaro of Chicago; and his siblings, Junior Brooks and Reva Brooks of Kentucky. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
