He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl James and Cora Oneida Kuykendall (Linda Clements Dyer); his son Daron Kuykendall (late Billie Stricklin Kuykendall); and his siblings, B. J. Kuykendall, Wilma Owens and Shirley Powell (Wayne).
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Kuykendall Griffin; his grandsons, Clifford Griffin (C. J.), Austin Griffin and Pauly Griffin; and his siblings, Carolyn Grimes and Bobby Kuykendall.
He requested no formal ceremony and no flowers.
