She was predeceased by : her husband Leroy Jesse Evatt; her parents, Bonnie Brown and Lee Edgar Brown; and her siblings, Bill Brown and Inell Kennedy.
She is survived by : her daughter Karen Evatt Welch (Sam); her granddaughter Mary Lee Welch Smith (Clayton); and her great grandchildren, Molly Kathleen and Connor Chapman Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and honorary grandchildren.
