With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wylie C. Evans of North Little Rock, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Wylie left this world on June 22, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Wylie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Wylie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Evans (Spradlin) and Wylie C. Evans; his stepsons, John and Joe Bradley; and his sister Martha Hobson (Tommy Sr.).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Anderson Evans; his sister Vivian Peeples (Billy); his nephews, Tommy Hobson, Jr. (Rebecca) and Trey Hobson (Emily); and his caregiver Ethel Golden. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main St, North Little Rock, AR 72114).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled Veterans of America.
