George Franklin Snelgrove Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Franklin Snelgrove of Oil Trough, Arkansas, who passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Snelgrove and Mollie Snelgrove (Long); his wife Robbie Nell Snelgrove; his daughter Sylvia Snelgrove; and his siblings, Tom Snelgrove, Red Snelgrove, Robert Snelgrove (RC), Hershel Snelgrove, JoAnn Moore, Vernell Cullins and Jane Snelgrove.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Meeks (Robert Heath); his grandchild Parker Meeks (Megan Atkins); and his caregivers, Kelly King, Linda Clem, Carol Weaver and Rose Farmer. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel (546 Harrison St, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Blackland Free Will Baptist Church (959 Blackland Rd, Oil Trough, AR 72564).
