She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Allen and Melvina Lumpkin Allen; her siblings, Henry Allen, Melody Robinson and Freda Allen; and her grandchild AyeKenja Mitchell.

She is survived by : her children, Arthur Mitchell (Fredericka Nelson) of San Antonio, TX and Shambrica Allen of San Antonio, TX; her siblings, Donald Allen (Karen) of Sioux Falls, ND, Melvin Allen (Linda) of Stafford, VA, Clifford Allen of Jonesboro, Debra Brown (James) of Osceola and Carolyn Williams of Jonesboro; and her close friend Ruby Hopewell of Luxora. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her caregiver.
