He was predeceased by : his mother Marie Mobley Shadell; and his siblings, Timothy Shadell, Jeff Southard, Tammy Taylor and Shannon Cullins.

He is survived by : his wife Vicki Shadell (Brown) of Perryville; his father Joseph James Shadell (Pam); his children, Joseph Blake Shadell (Amanda) of Maumelle, Vincent Shadell of Perryville, Chase Cagle of Conway and Elizabeth Charlton (Devan) of Spiro, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Logan, Bentley, Josiah, Brooke, Eastyn and Tyler.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Research Center or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
