He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Lee Mays and Henry Arnold; his son Arthur Arnold, Jr.; and his brothers, Theodis Williams and Lorenzo Charles Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Arnold; his children, Henry Arnold of Pine Bluff, Ivan Arnold of Senoia, Georgia and Samantha Dixson of Lagrange, Georgia; and his siblings, Lorenzo Smith, Eddie Arnold, Icy Arnold, Naomi Smith, Theodoria Smith, Betty Smith, Renette Smith McCargo and Linda Polk. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
