Betty Matthews Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Betty Matthews (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), born in Red Willow, Alberta. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Gregory Alexander and Bess Holt Alexander; her husband Stephen A. Matthews; and her brother Stephen Holt Alexander. She is survived by: her children, David Stephen Matthews of Pine Bluff and Susan Matthews Arnold (John) of Jonesboro; and her grandchildren, Tobias Schenkel of St. Gallen, Switzerland, Ruth Arnold Amensen (Kyle) of Conway, Matthew Arnold of Little Rock and Shirley Roby of Pine Bluff. She is also survived by son and a daughter, enjoyed two grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of RSVP, a member of the PEO Sisterhood, a member and Past President of Sesame Study Club, a member of Junior League of Pine Bluff, Synergy, and the Southeast Arkansas Arts and Science Center.
