She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Melvin, Jr. and Vernestine Allen; her former spouse Johnnie L. McFarland; her grandparents, Eunice L. Borkins and Jesse Borkins; her son Tarrence McFarland; her grandson Lawrence Webster, III; and her brother Kenny McDonald.
She is survived by: her siblings, Cardell McDonald, Rommie McDonald, Gerone McDonald, Sr., Leroy Parker, Sharon McIntyre and Sherry Johnson; her children, Lamontica McFarland, Erica Brown, Deshaun McFarland, Horace Brown, Jr. and Marquise Brown; her grandchildren, Bianca Blake, Kaya Boston Jarvis Gray, MaCoriah Porter, Terinique Brazeal, Nicholas Webster, Gavin McFarland, Marquis Brown and Ja'Marion Wade; and her great grandchild Ken'dall Baker. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
