It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Pote (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), born in Bastrop, Louisiana, who passed away on February 26, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her son Ernest "Ernie" Andrew Pote; her granddaughters, Lydia Wayland Pote, Hannah McAlister Pote and Jessica Joy Granderson Grissen; her daughter-in-law Linda Marie Wayland Pote; and her children, Ruthie Granderson (Irv), Susanna Granderson (Bill), Jonathan Pote, Deborah Gheen (Ken), Samuel Pote (Raquel), Daniel Pote (Sharon), Martha Dollar (Mike), Joseph Pote (Sherri), Sarah Swartz (Dave), Melody Bradford (Mike), Dorcas VanGilst (David), Ardelle Walters (Scott), Dalena Peterman, Michael Pote (Denise) and Joanna Reid (Jeremiah). She is also survived by 60 grandchildren and more than 100 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union Rescue Mission/Dorcas House in Little Rock.
