He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Pierce and Mabel Bailey Pierce; his wife Nelda Wooley Pierce; his stepson Phillip Young; and his grandson Steven Nolan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Evatt (Tommy) of Pine Bluff, Deborah Nolan (Hugh) of Pine Bluff and Dyanne Scoles of Woodlawn; his stepchildren, Travis Young, Leann Doss (Mike) and David Young (Robin); and his brother Troy Pierce. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
