He is survived by: his children, Heisman, Titus and Cailin O'Neill Bates-Carrier (Jeffery); his grandchildren, Heisman Carrier and Titus Carrier; his siblings, Ronald (Nancy), Butch, Johnny (Carolyn), Charles (Kay) and Debbie Mulherin (George); and his brother-in-law Jerry Benson.
