She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Lancaster Sr. and Amey C. Wesley Lancaster; her children, Dan Burris III and Dorothy Burris; and her siblings, Moses Lancaster Jr., Melvin Lee Lancaster, Elijah Lancaster and Elisha Lancaster.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Burris, Teresa Ligon (John), Amanda Smith, Kenneth Burris Sr. and Kevin Burris Sr.; and her siblings, William Caleb Lancaster, Gene Neal Lancaster, Annie Bell Lancaster Boykins and Kim Clarice Lancaster Ward. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great grand-children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
