With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lynn Atkinson (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on January 16, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Atkinson and Sue Atkinson; his wife Mary Nell Ashcraft Atkinson; his sons, Timothy Atkinson (Bethany) of White Hall, AR and Andrew Atkinson (Micki) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; his siblings, Wayne Atkinson (Darlene) of Kingwood, TX, Detri McGhee (Gary) of Star City, AR, Nikki Kelly (Freddie) of Jacksonville, AR and Tena Stinson of Star City, AR.; and his grandchildren, Kinley Atkinson of White Hall, AR, Alice and Asher Atkinson of Fort Oglethorpe, GA. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and longtime friends.
