She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Evans and Susie Lavina Huff Evans; and her siblings, Howard Evans and Dorothy Shenep Greenwood. She is survived by: her husband Marshall R. Pennington; her daughter Connie P. Marks Smith of Little Rock; her grandson Scott A. Marks (Erin) of Little Rock; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Kohl Marks and Melina Mora Marks of Little Rock; her sibling's children, Jim Shenep (Cindy), Louis Rainey (Margaret) of El Dorado, AR and Anne Shenep Blackwell (Jesse) of Pensacola, FL; her great-nephews, Christopher Shenep (Claire), Kell Shenep (Laci) and Stuart Shenep; and also Sophie Shenep of Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be sent to the Lakeside United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff.
