He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Debbie Moore; his wife Beth Kelley Dial; his children, John Dial, Brad Dial of Jonesboro, Stephanie Minton (Tim) of White Hall, Courtney Cooper (Kevin) of Redfield and Dana Perkins of Mississippi; and his siblings, Mark Dial (Donna) of Pine Bluff and Marsha White (Roy) of West Fork. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
