With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Smith (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), who passed away on April 23, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Jesse Guy Smith; her husband Jack Perdue Smith; her former husband E. Harley Cox; and her sister Shirley Jones Lynch. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Smith (Pam) of Fort Davis, TX, Jana Rentzel (Chris) of Dallas, TX and Ed Smith (Melinda) of Conway, AR.; her grandchildren, Lauren Lawson (John) of Pine Bluff and Alex Smith (Rachel) of Little Rock; her stepgrandchildren, Harrison Hatfield of Denver and Caroline Hatfield of Detroit; and her great grandchildren, Hallie Lawson, Ella Lawson and Annie Smith.
What was not planned was the COVID-19 pandemic that prevented her from being surrounded by her family.
