He is survived by: his wife Della Stark Simmons; his daughter Ashley Simmons Perry (Robert) of Oxford, MS; his grandchildren, Knox Perry, Ada Grace Perry, Lucy Perry and Annie Perry; his sister Jeanne Verlenden of Little Rock; his nephew John Verlenden of Little Rock; his brother Donald Simmons (Mari) of Hot Springs; his nephews, Taylor Simmons of Hot Springs, Patrick Simmons (Taylor) of Kelseyville, CA and Neil Simmons of Little Rock; his stepson Jesse Stark (Crystal); and his stepgrandson Layne of Conway.
