He was predeceased by: his daughter Jacqueline Ann Wilfling; his parents, Joseph Wilfling and Florence Wilfling; his parents-in-law, Della Knudson, Frank Barbeau and Elery Knudson; and his sisters, Pat VanderHeiden and Nancy Heinzkill.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly E. Wilfling; his son David Wilfling (Diane); his grandchildren, Dustin Wilfling-Hammes (Steve) and Devon Dictus (Bill); and his siblings, Sue Luba (Tom), Jerry Wilfling (Paulette), Mike Wilfling (Esther) and Becky Landgraf (Bob). He is also survived by his Granddaughters and their husbands, but nothing made him light up like his Great-Grandson.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for the Old Glory Honor Flight.
