He was predeceased by: his parents, William West and Vera McKenzie West; his brother Bill West; and his children, Jeffery Todd West, Jay West and Kay West.
He is survived by: his children, Greg West (Kaaran), Brian Borecky (Karen) and Tammy Rauls (Brad); and his brother Kirby Raymick. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
