She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Allen Murphy; and her brothers, Elton Hobson, Melvin Hobson, Ralph Hobson and Noel Hobson.
She is survived by: her children, Rick McLaughlin of Hot Springs and Myra Hardy of Pine Bluff; her sister Myra Hobson Twitchell; her grandchildren, Mike McLaughlin, Scott McLaughlin (Elizabeth), Lauren Hardy and Ashley Goodwin (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Jackson McLaughlin, Cora Goodwin and Phillip Goodwin.
