He was predeceased by : his mother Martha Owen Baxter; his children, Jodie and Jamie; his grandparents, Havis and Ila Owen; and his brothers, Mike Baxter and Havis Havitt.
He is survived by : his close friend Christie McCuistion; his children, Matt Simmons (Jennifer), Chad Garner and Amber Garner; and his sisters, Christy Jones of Booneville, Candy Bolen of Pine Bluff and Carla Woodruff of Pine Bluff. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
