She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Woodrow and Fannie Eula Stubblefield McCuiston; the father of her children James Steward Courtney; and her brothers, Mason McCuiston, Mac McCuiston and Donald McCuiston.
She is survived by: her children, James Courtney (Melinda) of Redfield, Michael Steward Courtney (Geneva) of Woodlawn, Donald "Korky" Wayne (Brenda) of Hamburg and Marcia White (Rufus) of Pine Bluff; and her sister Adda Beth Gevrin of Kentucky. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
