He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dendy and Elizabeth Atkinson Dendy; his daughter Phyllis Dendy; and his siblings, John Dendy, Edward Dendy, Queen Esther Withers and Lois Dendy.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Riggins Dendy; and his sisters, Violet Dendy of Hot Springs, AR, Patricia Dendy of Marvel, AR and Emily Dendy of Pine Bluff, AR.
