It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owedia Jackson (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew J. Thomas and Louise Thomas (Mixon); and her husband Roosevelt Jackson, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Ariel Jackson of Lynwood Illinois and Tenika Jackson of Los Angeles, California; and her siblings, Andrew Thomas of Chicago, IL, Bernadette Thomas of Lynwood, Illinois and Rosetta Smith of Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
