It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Thayer (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Thayer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Francis and Anna Bland Thayer; and his sister Kathleen Swagger. He is survived by: his wife Joan Thayer of Pine Bluff; his children, David Thayer (Angela) of Pine Bluff, Sherry Patton (Jeff) of Grand Junction, Shelly Adamson (Scott) of Cheyenne and Sharon Thayer of Pine Bluff; and his sisters, Zelma Sanford of Rockford, Ruth Martin of Kings Court and Charlotte Neal of Dayton, Ohio.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the family is having a private memorial service.
