He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Cauffield Franklin; his stepfather John Franklin; his half-brother John Franklin; and his stepson David Bawcom. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Peacock McKee; his stepchildren, Jason Dailey (Chasity), Charles Hobson (Shawna) and Dawn Smith (Stephen); and his sisters-in-law, Mackie Smith and Shirley Franklin. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and multiple special friends.
