It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Maher (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on January 23, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cecil and Rutha Ellen Burton Brown; her husband Richard F. Maher of Pine Bluff, AR.; her son Philip Bradley Maher; and her siblings, Rhoda May Brown Blanton, Bessie Christine Brown Smith, Margaret Lucille Brown Hoover, David Sidney Brown, Garlan Burnis Brown, Carrol Alfred Brown and Charles Lewis Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Ford (David) of Jersey City, NJ; her grandchildren, Sarah Ford Madden (Matthew) of Atlanta, GA, Mary Kathleen Ford of Schenectady, NY and Noah Bradley Maher; her sister Norma Brown Hales of Pine Bluff, AR.; and also, Lisa Loftis Johnson and Alex Wade of Malvern, AR.
