He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen J Knox and Melvin V Knight; and his sister Carolyn S Jiles. He is survived by: his great-aunt Lena B. Kendrick; his stepdaughter Kandis Shavers; and his siblings, Gwendolyn Knight-Ford of Milwaukee, WI, Vivian Finney, Jeffery Knight, Kenny Dixon, Lynda Jackson and Beverly Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
