She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Nickell and Rosemary Nickell; her husband Randy L. Farrin; and her brother Jeff Nickell. She is survived by: her children, Rusty Farrin (Katie) and Roni Horton (Ben); her grandchildren, Skip Farrin, Clara June Farrin, Walter Farrin, Bennett and Braxton Horton; her sister-in-law Kelly Nickell; and her sibling's children, Drew Nickell, Robbie Nickell and Maddie Nickell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shirley Cemetery, where Gena will be laid to rest alongside the community she loved. There is an account setup at First Horizon Bank for donations to the Shirley Cemetery.
