He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Florence Tompkins; his wife Fern Osborn; his siblings, Chester, Sylvester, Melvin, Jerry Tompkins, Ruby Pierce and Dorothy Martin; and his great grandchild Avery Austin.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Tompkins of Sheridan, AR, Kevin Tompkins of Qulin and Sonia Lee of Springfield, LA; his grandchildren, Chad, David, Trey, Kristie, Larry Keith, Michael, Daniel and Lindsey; and his siblings, Glen Tompkins of Qulin, Bill Tompkins of Patterson, MO, Theron Tompkins of Patterson, MO, Betty Davis of Patterson, MO and Margie O'Donell of Saint Louis, MO.. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
