He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Rave and Frieda Rave (Veen); and his brothers, Bertus, Earl and Lewis Rave.
He is survived by : his children, Belinda Burgess (Brian) and Mark Rave (Ruth); his brothers, Alfred and Clarence Rave; his grandchildren, Kenny Brown, Brenda Barker, Matthew Burgess, Jennifer Paetow, Carrie Thorvardson and Jason Rave; his great grandchildren, Lillie, Emma, Sophia Brown, Amber, Brandon Kruse, Calvin Thorvardson and Claire Rave; and his stepchildren, Brian and Vicky. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
