She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Eldon Clyde Fason and Beulah House Fason of Rose Bud; her siblings, Kathy Brewer (David) of Mt. Vernon, Rita Starkey (Donnie) of Rose Bud and Robert Fason (Donna) of Joy; her daughters, Tami (Chris) of Romance, Stacey (Nick) and Deanna (Mark) of Owasso, Oklahoma.; her grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Scott Allan, Brittany, Emily, William, Abbigail, Olivia and Colton; and her great grandchild Liam.
Barbara Dianne Fowlkes, a long-time resident of the Mt. Vernon area, died Saturday, the 14th of December, the day she won a courageous battle over Parkinson's Disease.
