He is survived by : his wife Melissa Hill Carter; and his children, Tina Cauldwell (Danny) of Romance, Stacy Cobb of Kensett, Shawn Carter (Amanda) of Searcy, Jeff Huddleston of Romance and Jesse Martin of West Point. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
