Catherine Hottinger Obituary
Catherine "Cathy" Tipton Hottinger, 75 of Russellville, passed away Saturday, July 15th, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born October 25th, 1947, in Russellville to the late Clyde and Mable Oswalt Tipton.
She was a founding member of the Crow Mtn. Fire Dept. and Pope County EMS Rescue. She was the owner of Crow Mountain Grocery. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife, not only to her biological children, but to many others. She touched many lives volunteering within the community. She loved to sing karaoke, dance, and ride her trike motorcycle. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jimmy Ray Hottinger; sister, Norma Sue Duvall; brother, Larry Clyde Tipton; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Shelby and Ruth Hottinger.
She is survived by her children, Tim Hottinger, Danny Hottinger and wife Stephanie, and Michele and husband Rocky Harmon; 4 grandchildren, Eric Hottinger, Daniel Hottinger, Josh Hottinger, and Makenzi Harmon; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Doug and Ruby Hottinger, Michael and Dana Hottinger, Randy and Kathy Howard, and Larry Duvall; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends; and her precious dog, Emma Jean.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 19th, at Lemley Chapel with Russell Thomas officiating. Burial will be held in North New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Pallbearers are Eric Hottinger, Josh Hottinger, Daniel Hottinger, Dewaine Hottinger, Anthony Morris, and Jamie DuVall.
