She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Tatum and Fay Tatum; her husband Lewis Brooks; and her son Robby Brooks. She is survived by: her daughters, Tamara Sanchez (Harvey) and Nouesia Cossey (Dino); her sister Sherry Warden; and her grandchildren, Abbe Elliott and Lawton Cossey.
