She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Whatley and Juanita Whatley; her siblings, Penny Beasley and Gus Whatley; and her son Junior.

She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Dowdell (Ken); her grandchildren, Justin, Chris (Kelsey) and Brittany (Colby); and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Aaliyah, Callie, Bode, Karter, Hayden and Harper.
