It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Laymon of Russellville, Arkansas, born in Dover, Arkansas, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Odell and Stella Juanita Goates Sanders; her husband James Clark; her siblings, John Claude, Elmer Owens Sanders and Edith Jewel Sanders; and her grandson James Scott Laymon.
She is survived by : her children, Clancie (Laura), Tony (Deann), Michal (Penny), Bill Laymon (Tammy), Sandra DeVore (Parker) and Julie Knotts (Tom); and her siblings, Ronnie Sanders (Brenda) and Patsy Chance (Raymond). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
